Ipod common failures
Apple recently surveyed its customers and results showed that 13.7% of all ipods have failures. One of the most common ipod failures is a battery related issue, followed by ipod hard drive failures. Other common failures include ipod display failure and ipod port failures such as Ipod headphone, Ipod remote, Ipod FireWire ports. The ipod described as having the most failures is ipod 40 GB Click Wheel.
Accidental damage, drops, immersion and even sweat are common issues for ipod owners. Impact related damage to an ipod include cracked ipod screens, broken ipod screens, ipod headphone jacks, ipod remote control ports, ipod FireWire ports, and occasionally the ipod Dock connector port.
